An Orisha is a spirit that reflects one of the manifestations of God in Africa's Yoruba religion. Many Orishas have found their way throughout the Americas via the Atlantic slave trade and are now expressed in practices as varied as Santeria, Candombié, Trinidad Orisha, and Oyotunji
Ochosi is the great hunter orishia, he has great knowledge of all things that reside within the forest and is also the guardian of Justice. Ochosi uses his bow and arrow to hunt the unrighteous, all law enforcement individuals are said to be under his protection and guidance. Although Ochosi was a prominent orisha in Africa, his followers were however vastly enslaved during the African diaspora, as a result today he is most worshiped in Cuba and Brazil instead.
This statue is beautifully designed, sculpted and handcrafted to the finest detail in cold cast metal Bronze/pewter) finish.
Size: L2 1/2* W 1 1/8 * H3 7/8
