Lakshmi is the daughter of Durga and the wife of Vishnu, the importance behind the lore of Lakshmi made her a truly domestic deity, households worships Lakshmi as a symbol of the family well-being, women also worship her as a mother goddess due to her positive female energy of the supreme being. Lakshmi is commonly portrayed as a beautiful goddess with four arms, with one or two of the arms holding lotus flowers, she also often stand on top of the lotus flower or sit beneath Lord Vishnu.
