Hestia Greek Goddess Of Hearth

One of the twelve Olympians, Hestia(Vesta) was Zeus' older sister, the virgin goddess of the Hearth. She governs domestic life. Each meal begins and ends with an offering to her. Each city has a public hearth sacred to her, whose fire is never allowed to die out.
